We started this company because we felt like modern production has become far too industrial. Upon taking a trip to some of the most remote places on Earth, we came to the idea that we needed to do something a little different.

Early on, we became interested in the idea that real food isn’t uniform. When something comes from nature, it changes based on where it’s from, or even what season it is, or what it's surrounded by. This complexity wasn’t a problem that needed fixing.

What happens after the harvest also didn’t need to change—that being unnecessary processing, nothing needed to change to make everything taste the same. We wanted honesty in what is put into every box, jar, or bottle.

After all, what grows naturally tastes so for a reason.

We want to be open with you on where and how we source and be responsible with whom we partner.

At the end of the day, we’re here for the same reason you are:
